Mobile Messaging Terms

Effective Date: January 1, 2025

Braes Tech, Inc. (“Braes”) operates SMS programs on behalf of participating home health and hospice agencies (each, an “Agency”). Messages are transactional and non-marketing, used for care coordination such as visit scheduling, reminders, and time-sensitive notifications.

Opt-In

Enrollment requires explicit consent. You may: (a) check the SMS consent box during intake and sign; (b) reply YES to a confirmation after verbal consent is recorded by staff (double opt-in); or (c) text START to the program number.

Frequency & Rates

Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply.

STOP / HELP

Text STOP to end messages. You will receive one final confirmation. Text HELP for help, or contact the Agency or Braes at 713-487-9201 or support@braes.com.

Care Not Conditioned on Consent

SMS enrollment is not required to receive care.

No Emergency Use

SMS is not for emergencies. Call 911 for urgent or life-threatening issues.

Carriers

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Data Use

See our Privacy Policy for how we process phone numbers, consent records, and message metadata. Full mobile messaging terms also live in our Terms of Service.
